Back to School, Back to Work, Back to Training… It’s That Time of The Year!
We are back and we have some new and exciting offerings this fall that we hope you will enjoy and gain many benefits from! Let me begin by highlighting some of these new programs.
Monday evening Swim: Small group, more attention and more individualized coaching. An opportunity for some of you to receive coaching a second time a week. We are offering this swim at our new location at the new Remington YMCA in Quarry Park. Space is limited.
Thursday morning Spin: Want to take the weekend off? want to build on your current volume? or are you available to train during the week/daytime? We are now offering the Saturday spin on a weekday morning. A great way to get your long ride done in a group while giving you the option to double up on your volume or take the weekend off!
Wednesday morning swim: If you want to add to your swim volume a great opportunity to swim in a group setting with a coach/leader during the daytime/weekday. Space is very limited.
Our regular programs are still being offered, the Tuesday spin with Coach Carol, the strength sessions both Wednesday and Friday, the group swim on Friday evenings and the Saturday Spin. Like always you have the option to sign up for individual classes or sign up for a system.
This year we are starting up almost a full month early… I know its hard to think about next year already!! We had so many great accomplishments this past summer and they all seem so fresh! But…I hate to say this but for example Ironman Canada is only 10 months away! I am implementing a new structure to our training for the fall and early winter. Both on personal programs and in the group setting you will find a greater emphasis on the “off season.” My goal, as your coach, is to build your strength/skill level and confidence levels to a point where when we hit the volume phase you are ready to tack on the extra miles! This is why I have moved our starting point earlier. It will be my pleasure to go over all of this with all you when we begin the season! My new calendar for meetings will be released today (or ASAP) and I will start taking appointments on Monday next week. Please make sure you read up on all the new information in regards to the one-on-one meetings.
I am thrilled to bring on a new coach this fall. Keaton Wolasky, a local triathlete rocket, will be joining us and sharing his experiences and knowledge with S3! We have yet to finalize when Keaton will join us… more details to come. Please stay tuned!
In other news of interest I have canceled the idea of a Hawaii camp this winter, not sure we will get the numbers we need to make it a go. If you are interested you have to let me know ASAP. That being said I am adding a new training camp in early May in Utah. More details to come soon.
So with all of this being said! It’s time to get back at it S3! I have been off the radar for a few weeks now… I truly needed the rest and the break - I thank you for respecting my time off! Starting Monday morning my phone is back on! I can’t wait to see all of you and to keep pushing your limits to new heights!
